A 47-year-old woman and her 27-year-old son have been apprehended by DIICOT for drug trafficking, selling 'crystal' in Arad County.

DIICOT prosecutors detained a 47-year-old woman and her 27-year-old son, suspected of drug trafficking in Arad County. The illicit activity began in September last year, and the two are believed to have sold high-risk crystalline substances, such as 2MMC and 2CMC, at prices between 400 and 2,500 lei. Following the investigation, approximately 115 grams of drugs were confiscated, and during the searches at their homes in the Felnac commune, other evidence was also found. Prosecutors intend to present the defendants to the judges with a proposal for preventive detention for high-risk drug trafficking.
