Wizz Air will reopen the air base in Suceava and will introduce eight new routes, including Vienna, Brussels and Venice, starting in December. The President of the Suceava County Council, Gheorghe Șoldan, underlined the importance of these developments for connectivity, tourism and supporting the diaspora. The airport will benefit from two Wizz Air aircraft, and in the future an ILS landing system will be installed and the embarkation-disembarkation platform will be expanded, with the aim of modernizing the airport and attracting more flights.
