Orlandos SRL has initiated the withdrawal from sale of several batches of poppy seeds, after it was found that they exceed the limit of opiate alkaloids. The National Sanitary Veterinary and Food Safety Authority (ANSVSA) has informed that the affected products include poppy seeds of 250 g and 50 g, with varying expiration dates. Consumers are warned not to consume them, but to destroy them or return them to the stores.
