Tourists traveling on the A2 Highway are warned by DRDP Constanța about dangerous metal objects on the roadway that can cause tire explosions.

The Regional Directorate of Roads and Bridges Constanța has issued a warning for tourists heading to the coast on the A2 Highway, where handmade metal objects have been repeatedly identified on the roadway.

These pose a significant risk, potentially causing tire explosions, punctures, and immobilization of vehicles. The objects are often the result of improperly secured loads, especially from vehicles transporting scrap metal. Additionally, officials have emphasized that there are also cases where malicious individuals throw such objects on the road.

Although road workers regularly clean the roadway, drivers are advised to exercise caution, adjust their speed, and report any encountered hazards. DRDP Constanța has provided contact numbers for reporting issues.
