Florinela Georgescu, the director of forecasting at ANM, announced on Friday at Digi24 that the weekend will bring unusually high temperatures, with highs of up to 20-21 degrees in the west and center of the country. Although the weather will be warm, the meteorologist warned that after the middle of next week, a cooling is expected, with the possibility of returning precipitation, including in the form of sleet or snow in mountainous areas.

Georgescu emphasized that the period without precipitation is unusually long, but added that there will be no immediate problems, as winter has brought sufficient precipitation. March is known for its thermal alternations, and the meteorologist mentioned that it is normal to have fluctuations between high and low temperatures during this period.
