The President of the Senate, Mircea Abrudean, asked the Legal Commission to analyze the incident that broke out in the plenary session, after two senators got into a scuffle during the final voting session, and a parliamentarian filmed in the hall, although the regulations prohibit this. Abrudean stated that such situations "will not be tolerated" and that the sanctions provided by the regulations will be applied. For her part, PSD senator Victoria Stoiciu accused extremist parties of turning Parliament "into a stadium," arguing that the boycott and aggressive behavior represent a form of sabotage against legislative activity.
