According to representatives of ISU Bihor, a fire was reported around 21:55 at a waste dump, with flames covering an area of approximately 200 square meters. The fire was burning violently, fueled by easily flammable materials.
In the initial phase, two fire engines with water and foam were dispatched, as well as a SMURD ambulance, with the number of crews being increased later. Due to the characteristics of the fire, which included violent burning and the presence of multiple hotspots, the operational group was activated, and the intervention was reinforced with three more fire crews.
The fire was extinguished around 22:30, but the crews continue to work to search for and eliminate any potential hidden hotspots.
