The wildfire in Reșița has reignited, and additional forces have been mobilized to extinguish it, including a helicopter.

A wildfire broke out on Friday in the Câlnic neighborhood of the municipality of Reșița, and on Saturday it reignited, prompting the mobilization of additional forces to extinguish the fire.

The Caraș-Severin Inspectorate for Emergency Situations announced that five firefighting vehicles, staffed by 19 soldiers from the Reșița Fire Department, are participating in the intervention. In support of them, a helicopter from the General Inspectorate of Aviation and two firefighting vehicles from ISU Timiș have been mobilized. Firefighters are prioritizing the containment and extinguishing of the fire, considering the risks associated with wildfires.
