The USR general councilors Dragoș Radu, Nicorel Nicorescu, and Bogdan Sabo argue that, within the institution that coordinates public transport in the Bucharest-Ilfov metropolitan area (TPBI), the organizational chart provides for a ratio of approximately one manager to 3-4 employees, a proportion they consider difficult to justify for a structure funded by public money. According to them, out of 208 positions planned, 171 are occupied, and 37 are management positions. USR also points out that the Capital City Hall allocated about 20 million lei for the operation of TPBI in 2025, while the localities in Ilfov contributed approximately 2 million lei, and for 2026 the institution is requesting an increased budget.
