Following a protest held in the center of Liverpool on Sunday around 2:30 PM, in which approximately 100 people participated, 66 individuals were arrested by the police. The organizers of the protest, Defend Our Juries, stated that two people were subsequently released. The 64 individuals arrested on suspicion of committing a terrorism offense were aged between 21 and 83 years. Palestine Action was banned as a 'terrorist organization' in July after the group claimed responsibility for damaging two Voyager aircraft at RAF Brize Norton.
