Volodimir Zelenski has issued a decree dismissing the head of the State Security Administration, Serhii Rud.

Rud's dismissal comes shortly after the Ukrainian Security Service uncovered a network of FSB agents planning Zelenski's assassination. Two State Security Administration colonels accused of leaking classified information to Russia were detained. The FSB network aimed to find the perpetrators among the military close to Zelenski's security, to take him hostage and then kill him.
