A Ukrainian citizen, residing in Oradea, has been placed in preventive detention for attempted murder after he assaulted a neighbor following a spontaneous conflict. The incident occurred on November 16, when the 36-year-old man, under the influence of alcohol, physically attacked the neighbor with a knife, causing him serious injuries, including damage to major blood vessels.

The victim was urgently transported to the hospital, requiring surgical intervention and approximately 20 days of medical care for recovery. The prosecutor requested the preventive detention of the aggressor for 30 days, a request that was granted by the judge. Authorities emphasize that violence is taken seriously and continue investigations to establish all circumstances of the incident.
