Two young people from Bacău, aged 19 and 20, were found dead in a car in Harghita, with a blank-firing pistol beside them. Investigators are looking into the circumstances of the death.

On October 22, 2025, the police in Miercurea Ciuc were alerted that a car with two deceased individuals inside was located in the commune of Frumoasa. At the scene, a 19-year-old girl and a 20-year-old boy, both from Bacău County, were identified. Traces that are to be forensically examined were found on their bodies. Additionally, a stun gun used for animal slaughter was discovered in the car. The boy had a wound on his right temple, while the girl had a wound in the chest area, near the heart. The two, who were a couple, had been reported missing on the same day. Investigators do not rule out the possibility of suicide and continue their inquiries to establish the exact circumstances of the deaths.
