In Brașov, two young men were arrested for high-risk drug trafficking, following an operation carried out by DIICOT prosecutors and police officers. They were caught by authorities at the moment when one of them tried to dispose of the illegal substances by throwing them out the window. Searches conducted at their residence led to the confiscation of 60 sheets of psychoactive substances and some amounts of money. Investigators began their inquiries after two consumers who purchased drugs from the suspects were hospitalized in serious condition. The young men, who started selling drugs in February, were presented to the judge with a proposal for preventive detention and are now being investigated in a criminal case for high-risk drug trafficking.
