Two young people arrested for international drug trafficking in Constanta. The value of the drugs is estimated at 60,000 euros.

The police of the Constanța Organized Crime Combat Brigade, under the coordination of prosecutors, have documented the criminal activity of two individuals, a 22-year-old man and a 17-year-old minor, investigated for international and domestic trafficking of controlled substances.

Following the investigations, it was established that, in June 2026, the man procured approximately 5.3 kilograms of cannabis from Spain, a drug intended for sale, which he introduced into the country through a courier company. On June 24, 2026, the minor was caught in the act while picking up the package containing the illegal substance, which had a black market value of approximately 60,000 euros.

The prosecutors of the Directorate for Investigating Organized Crime and Terrorism - Constanța Territorial Service ordered the detention of the two, who will be presented to the judges of the Constanța Tribunal with a proposal for preventive arrest for 30 days.
