A 30-year-old man and a 46-year-old man were injured on a railway construction site in Cluj, after a piece of concrete was improperly handled.

On Thursday, around 1:40 PM, the police were alerted about an incident at a railway construction site in the town of Mintiu Gherlii, Cluj County, where two men were injured. A 30-year-old man, who was operating a backhoe, was struck by a piece of material being improperly handled, affecting both him and a 46-year-old colleague, a mechanic's assistant. Both were transported to the hospital, being conscious and cooperative, but presenting multiple traumas. The police have opened a criminal case for bodily injury due to negligence and for failing to comply with health and safety measures at work.
