A man and a woman were apprehended after stealing goods worth 2 million euros from the house of an Italian citizen in Corbeanca.

A man and a woman have been detained for 24 hours and will be proposed to the prosecutors of the Ilfov Tribunal for preventive arrest for aggravated theft with particularly serious consequences.

The two are accused of stealing goods and money worth approximately 2,000,000 euros from the home of an Italian citizen in the Corbeanca commune, using an authentic key obtained earlier and forcing the access doors. Among the stolen items are luxury watches, gold and platinum jewelry, branded clothing, appliances, and large sums of money.

The police conducted three searches in the Ilfov and Calarasi counties, where suspicious goods and illegally held weapons were discovered. Part of the stolen goods, worth approximately 1,000,000 euros, have been recovered. Investigations continue to establish the entirety of the criminal activity.
