The Alba Tribunal sentenced on Tuesday two of the three men accused of murdering the Sibiu businessman Adrian Kreiner to life imprisonment, while the third suspect, Costinel Zuleam, who was not caught, received a 30-year sentence. The two convicted men, Marian-Cristian Minae and Laurențiu Ghiță, were found guilty of qualified murder and other offenses. Additionally, the court ordered the defendants to pay material and moral damages to the victim's former partner and daughter. The trial began last autumn, and the three men were accused of coming to Romania with the intention of committing thefts, culminating in the attack on Kreiner, who was severely beaten and later died. The stolen watches, valued at over 200,000 euros, were found in the car of one of the defendants. The decision of the Alba Tribunal is subject to appeal.
