The Prosecutor's Office next to the High Court of Cassation and Justice announced the referral to trial of two men, currently in preventive detention, for violating the regime of weapons and ammunition, in a continuous manner. In 2025, the two defendants illegally sold lethal weapons in Dâmbovița County, obtaining amounts of 2,500 and 2,000 euros. Additionally, one of them possessed a lethal weapon and 100 cartridges without authorization in 2026. The indictment has been sent to the Găești Court for trial. The investigation included 11 searches conducted on February 9, targeting the illegal introduction of firearms from Turkey, known as GHOST GUNS. One of the defendants was arrested on February 10, and the other on April 15.
