Two men have been placed in preventive custody for qualified murder, being accused of killing a disabled person in a wheelchair, following an extreme assault that lasted 15 minutes.
The incident took place on the evening of November 28, in Râmnicu Sărat, Buzău County, when the two aggressors became angry because the victim did not announce that he wanted to satisfy his physiological needs. They beat him with their fists, feet, and even with the handle of an axe, causing multiple traumatic injuries. The victim's death was confirmed by the medical team, with the forensic doctor determining that the cause of death was cranio-cerebral trauma and other severe injuries. One of the aggressors was a repeat offender, having a previous conviction of 17 years for particularly serious murder. The Buzău Tribunal ordered the preventive arrest of the two for 30 days.
