On Thursday morning, Romania was rocked by two earthquakes in the Vrancea seismic zone in Buzău county. The first quake, with a magnitude of 3.3, occurred at 3:08 at a depth of 125.8 km and the second, with a magnitude of 3.4, at 3:45 at a depth of 144.4 km. In May, Romania recorded 18 earthquakes, the largest of which had a magnitude of 4.4.
