Two men, one adult and one minor, have been sent to trial for qualified murder, robbery, and violence.

Two defendants, M.C.G. (adult) and C.G.F. (17-year-old minor), have been referred to justice by the Prosecutor's Office attached to the Prahova Tribunal for serious offenses, including qualified murder and robbery. On the night of January 12, 2026, they unlawfully entered the yard of two victims, aged 68 and 77, causing them severe physical injuries.

On January 15, after cutting off the electricity supply, they broke into their home, where they committed repeated acts of violence to obtain money, resulting in the death of one of the victims and serious injuries to the other. Additionally, M.C.G. sexually assaulted the victim N.M., taking advantage of her vulnerability. The defendants have been placed in preventive detention, and the case has been forwarded to the Prahova Tribunal for resolution.
