The interim Minister of Labor, Dragoș Pîslaru, announced on Tuesday evening that two people found in illegal nursing homes in Bihor have died, bringing the death toll to three.

These individuals had been taken to hospitals for care. Additionally, a man escaped from a center in Bihor County, and the police are searching for him. Of the 409 identified individuals, 394 have been integrated into social services from 20 counties, while 15 have been hospitalized in medical units.

Pîslaru detailed the situation, mentioning that 185 individuals have identity documents, and work is underway to issue them for 190 others. Furthermore, 136 individuals have disability certificates, and 197 have social intervention plans.

Following the searches conducted on June 30, investigators identified 409 individuals housed in 18 properties in the localities of Dumbrava, Tinca, Incești, and Bicăcel. According to investigators, since 2006, over 3,300 individuals have been sheltered in these centers, of which approximately 1,020 have died and have been buried in the local cemetery.
