Recently, 180 million lei have been invested in modernizations, and the management has put new posts out to tender. Stoian Vâlcu, the airport's director, with a monthly income of over 10,000 lei, was appointed without experience in the field, and the airport was subsidized with 3.7 million lei in 2022.
