Truck driver caught forcing a railway barrier in Constanta. Train traffic was disrupted.

Railway traffic between Dorobanțu and Nazarcea was affected after a truck driver forced the barrier of a level crossing on DN 22C. The images captured by surveillance cameras show how the vehicle crosses at high speed just as the barrier is descending, hitting the installation and preventing it from closing.

The incident occurred on June 23, and traffic was directed by police until the malfunction was remedied by CFR teams. The images were sent to the authorities for the identification and sanctioning of the driver. CFR representatives remind that failing to comply with the signals at level crossings can have serious consequences, which is why they are running the awareness campaign "BE CAREFUL! The level crossing does not forgive mistakes!".
