This action has sparked a series of videos on TikTok, in which Romanians in the diaspora threaten not to return to their country. The law stipulates that destroyed documents must be restored within 15 days or face a fine of 1,000 lei. In addition, it costs 258 lei for adults and 234 lei for children to exchange their passports. Ilie Bolojan emphasized the importance of respecting all citizens, regardless of their political views.
