Prahova Mountain Rescue reported on Saturday the death of a climber following a fall on the Albișoara Brânei in Bucegi.

The mobilization of rescue forces was impressive, coordinated by the Department for Emergency Situations (DSU). An air ambulance from the Brașov Aeromedical Operating Point arrived at the scene, along with four ambulances. The first mountain rescuer to reach the incident site unfortunately confirmed the death of a woman.

Additionally, two more helicopters were sent from Târgu Mureș and Caransebeș to assist in the rescue operation of the other three individuals involved in the accident. This incident highlights the risks associated with mountain activities and the need for appropriate safety measures.
