A 13-year-old girl was found hanged by her mother in the family's home in Sibiu. Doctors called to the scene declared her dead. The police have opened a criminal case for manslaughter, investigating the circumstances of the tragedy. Neighbors described her as withdrawn but without obvious problems. It seems that, on the previous night, the girl had a conflict with her parents over being forbidden to watch cartoons on her phone. This is the second tragedy in the area, following the suicide of an 18-year-old in August.
