DRDP Craiova announced that traffic on DN 7 – Valea Oltului has resumed under normal conditions on Wednesday at 01:30, after it was closed on Tuesday due to a technical failure of a tanker truck. The incident occurred at the exit from Căciulata towards Sibiu, where there was a loss of liquefied petroleum gas, which led to the establishment of a safety zone.

Firefighters intervened constantly, spraying water on the tanker to control the dispersion of the gas. Traffic was closed on the section Boița – Vâlcea County starting from Tuesday at 15:00, and vehicles were diverted to alternative routes.
