The Vâlcea County Police Inspectorate (IPJ) announced that, starting at 14:00, traffic on DJ 669, which leads to Vârful lui Roman, is closed due to unfavorable weather conditions, characterized by blizzard snowfall. In the first part of the day, access was allowed only for 4x4 vehicles equipped with winter tires and chains, but the situation has worsened, leading to the complete closure of the road. Traffic police are present on the ground to monitor and control traffic, advising drivers to be cautious, to adjust their speed to road conditions, and to follow the authorities' instructions.
