Prahova Mountain Rescue published a video clip on Wednesday in which two tourists are seen on the Bucegi Plateau, having scooters with them. In the filmed images, one tourist tries to move on the scooter, but the rough terrain makes maneuvering difficult. The rescuers commented ironically on the use of scooters in the mountains, wondering why they wouldn't work on the Bucegi Plateau, considering their popularity in cities. Reactions from internet users were varied, with some expressing amusement, while others were more understanding, mentioning that the tourists used the cable car to reach the plateau and that, in the absence of any restrictions, using scooters on the mountain asphalt shouldn't be a problem.
