According to information provided by Salvamont Prahova, the man went into cardiac arrest. The mountain rescue team on the Bucegi Plateau intervened quickly, initiating the resuscitation protocol, including the use of a defibrillator, but the efforts proved unsuccessful. The duty doctor from the medical dispatch declared the victim dead, who will be evacuated from the mountain by land and handed over to the Institute of Legal Medicine. This tragedy highlights the risks associated with mountain activities, especially in difficult conditions.
