Bozankaya officially launched five 12-meter electric trolleybuses in Timișoara, marking an important step in modernizing the city's public transport. These vehicles, which operate on line 16, are part of a total delivery of 33 trolleybuses, of which 8 have already been delivered, while the remaining 25, including 19 articulated ones, are expected by the end of the year. The trolleybuses are fully electric, having zero emissions, and are equipped with modern facilities for passenger comfort, such as air conditioning and wireless internet. Mayor Dominic Fritz emphasized the importance of this investment, which was funded by European funds, in the context of the goal of making public transport the main mode of travel in the city. Bozankaya, with extensive experience in providing eco-friendly vehicles, continues to collaborate with Timișoara, after previously delivering state-of-the-art trams. The company is committed to developing sustainable and efficient public transport solutions, thus contributing to the improvement of urban quality of life.
