The Timișoara City Hall has launched an investment project worth 21.4 million lei (approximately 4.3 million euros) for the modernization of the infrastructure in the Blașcovici neighborhood. The project targets degraded or unpaved streets, without sidewalks, and with outdated water and sewage systems.

The goal is to provide residents with safer and more accessible living conditions, adapted to current urban needs. Among the planned interventions are the establishment of bike lanes on Taborului and Semicerc streets, as well as the planting of large trees upon completion of the works.

The project is being carried out in phases by the Municipal Roads Company (SDM) and includes the following streets: Academician Aurel Bărgălăzan, Amzei, Bachus, Corina Irineu, Eugen Todoran, Madona, Alexandru Cisman, Semicerc, Ștefan Nădășan, Taborului, Tacit, Umbrei, and Vidin.
