On Sunday morning, a serious road accident occurred in Bistrița-Năsăud County, where a vehicle driven by an 18-year-old girl fell from a height of over seven meters into the bed of the Anieș River.

The accident happened on Communal Road 2H, in the Anieș Valley, when the driver lost control of the direction in a curve. As a result of the impact, she and two passengers aged 17 and 18 were injured and transported to the hospital for medical care. The driver could not be tested with a breathalyzer, and biological samples were collected at the hospital. The police have opened a criminal case to investigate the circumstances of the accident.
