The Capital Police has launched a complex investigation regarding three individuals, a 57-year-old woman, her daughter (30 years old), and her son-in-law (33 years old), suspected of embezzlement in a continuous form. The three are believed to have caused a loss of approximately 400,000 lei to nine homeowners' associations in the Rahova-Pucheni area.

According to investigators, between January 2022 and October 2024, the suspects misappropriated funds intended for utility payments, the operating fund, and repairs, leaving residents without essential services, even though they had paid their debts. To prove the criminal activity, five home searches were conducted in Bucharest, Ilfov, and Tulcea, with the investigation being coordinated by the Prosecutor's Office attached to the Sector 5 Court.
