The Straja resort (Lupeni/Hunedoara) has opened the winter season with the first sled on rails, a 1,300 m mountain rollercoaster.

The winter season has officially begun in Straja (Lupeni/Hunedoara), where tourists have enjoyed the snow and entertainment. A new attraction, the first sled on rails in the resort, has been inaugurated, with a length of over 1,300 meters.

Tourists who wish to reach Straja can drive to the resort or take the gondola from Lupeni, where a parking lot with about 300 spaces is available at the departure station.

The ski area in Straja extends over approximately 26 kilometers, with 12 trails for all levels. The mountain rescuers are present to ensure the safety of tourists and recommend caution on the slopes.
