The third Dacian bracelet stolen from the Drents Museum, along with the Helmet from Coţofeneşti, remains unreturned, and Laura Peters, a university lecturer in criminal law at the University of Groningen, emphasized that it could theoretically be used as a bargaining chip in criminal negotiations.

Procedural agreements between the Prosecutor's Office and suspects allow for the return of stolen goods in exchange for lighter sentences. Peters explained that these agreements become final only with the judge's approval, and the risks for suspects are significant, as the court could decide that the proposed sentence is insufficient.

Although the helmet and two bracelets have already been returned, the third bracelet is missing, and the details of the agreement are not public. The process could be expedited due to these agreements, but the exact duration depends on their content. The stolen artifacts, including the helmet, have been presented to the public by the Dutch authorities after recovery, and the suspects will appear in court in April.
