Andrew and Tristan Tate, along with an accomplice, have been sent to trial by DIICOT in a case concerning offenses of assault and illegal access to a computer system, committed in 2021.
This case is part of a larger investigation, returned to prosecutors at the end of 2024. According to prosecutors, an accomplice of the Tate brothers accessed an electronic device belonging to one of the victims and posted compromising materials on social media, as revenge for the victim's refusal to produce pornographic materials and the request to leave the brothers' property.
The victim was also physically assaulted. DIICOT continues its investigations into the Tate brothers' case, recently expanding the charges against Andrew Tate for human trafficking and money laundering. The main case, in which they are accused of forming an organized criminal group, human trafficking, and rape, has been returned to the prosecutor's office.
