The student who attacked his classmates with a machete has been detained

The 15-year-old student from the “Armand Călinescu” Technological College in Pitești, who attacked his classmates with a machete in the school bathroom on Thursday morning, was detained for 24 hours, according to ePitești.ro.

According to information provided by the police, a criminal case was opened in connection with the unauthorized carrying or use of dangerous objects, assault or other violence, destruction, and disturbing public order and peace.

According to the teaching staff, the minor attended class as usual, and during the break he went into the bathroom and attacked his classmates, injuring two people.

One of the boys was injured in the forearm with the machete, while another was physically assaulted. The attacker allegedly wanted revenge after reportedly being bullied by his classmates.

We remind you that on October 19, an eighth-grade student from Bistrița attacked a female teacher and another student with a knife. The attack was allegedly racially motivated.
