The President of the Senate, Mircea Abrudean, announced that the Senate has approved a draft law as part of the legislative package that must be adopted in the next four weeks. Of the nearly 50 normative acts included, over 90% have already been adopted by the Senate, which highlights a sustained pace of the legislative process.

Abrudean emphasizes the importance of this effort in the context of implementing the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (PNRR), where meeting deadlines is essential. He stated that he will continue to monitor the debate and adoption of the remaining projects in procedure, considering the commitments made. Interim Prime Minister Ilie Bolojan added that all legislative initiatives will be submitted by government members, prioritizing the avoidance of losing European funds.
