The Senate adopted the draft law regulating the control of airspace use, including the procedures for shooting down drones illegally entering Romania.

Draft legislation on airspace use control was adopted by the Senate with 79 votes in favor, 11 against and two abstentions. It regulates how the armed forces can intervene in case of drones illegally entering Romanian airspace. The Senate also approved the draft law on the deployment of military missions on Romanian territory in peacetime.
