President Nicușor Dan met on Monday at the Cotroceni Palace with the Secretary-General of the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD), Mathias Cormann, with discussions focused on the advanced stage of Romania's accession process to the organization.


The two officials analyzed the main conclusions of the OECD Economic Study for Romania 2026 and the recommendations made to strengthen the economy and improve public policies. During the meeting, international economic developments were also addressed, as well as the necessary steps for Romania to achieve its strategic goal of joining the OECD in 2026.
