The National Cyber Security Directorate (DNSC) has issued a warning regarding the risks associated with free Wi-Fi connections available in cafes, airports, and hotels. Experts emphasize that attackers can intercept data traffic, create fake networks (Wi-Fi spoofing), and access unencrypted transmitted information, thus exposing passwords, banking data, and authentication sessions.

In a post on the DNSC's Facebook page, experts recommend that users avoid accessing bank accounts and transmitting sensitive data over public networks. Among the suggested protective measures are activating a VPN to encrypt traffic, disabling automatic connection to Wi-Fi networks, using websites with secure connections (HTTPS), and constantly updating the operating system and applications.

These measures are essential to protect users' digital security.
