The National Railway Federation Commercial Movement Wagons reacted to the announcement of interim minister Radu Miruţă regarding a form for travelers, stating that the problems of the Romanian railway require investments and concrete decisions, not "just image campaigns".
The union asks the minister to visit the depots, sorting stations, and workshops to understand the reality of the railway system, where employees work with limited resources, according to the statement.
Although they appreciate the initiative to collect feedback from travelers, the union emphasizes that issues such as delays and malfunctions have been known for years, and solutions cannot come only from complaints.
The Federation draws attention to the age of the equipment and the underfunding of the system, stating that without adequate investments, quality services cannot be provided.
The President of the Federation, Grigore Mare, emphasized that real changes in the railway system depend on committed decisions and budgets that respond to real needs.
