During a phone conversation, the Prime Minister of Romania, Ilie Bolojan, and the Prime Minister of Bulgaria, Rossen Jeliazkov, discussed strengthening bilateral cooperation, emphasizing transport and navigation projects on the Danube. A central topic was the necessity of building a new bridge at Ruse to reduce congestion at the current crossing point. The two officials agreed to form a joint working group to coordinate cross-border projects and to enhance collaboration within the Strategic Partnership, including in the field of maritime security in the Black Sea.
