The Petromidia and Vega refineries return to optimal capacity after maintenance.

Rompetrol Rafinare has announced the successful completion of the planned maintenance at the Petromidia Năvodari and Vega Ploiești refineries, which will soon resume at optimal capacity.

The maintenance included over 700 maintenance works, the replacement of catalysts in six main installations, and checks on approximately 900 pieces of equipment. Additionally, nearly 1,200 pipelines were inspected and tested. An important aspect of the maintenance was the recertification and extension of operating permits by the competent authorities. The work was carried out with the help of over 2,500 specialists, thus ensuring the continuity of technological processes and environmental protection. Rompetrol Rafinare halted refinery operations at the beginning of March for this work, which was scheduled to last approximately 20 days.
