The project for the arrangement of the new Grozăvești Park was initiated in 2022 by the local USR Sector 6 councilors, aiming to recover one hectare of green space. The works began on Monday, and Diana Buzoianu announced on social media that the park will include an area of 30,991 square meters, with green spaces, flowering meadows, sports fields, playgrounds for children, gazebos, relaxation areas with hammocks, a space for dogs, a 14-meter observation tower, and a square for events.
The project includes the planting of 355 new trees, alongside 479 existing ones, and 1,500 shrubs, as well as the arrangement of perennial plants. The park will benefit from modern lighting, ecological irrigation systems, and urban furniture. Buzoianu congratulated the USR councilors and the local administration for their efforts in realizing this important project for the community.
