The Romanian Authority for Digitalization has initiated a tender of 123 million lei for the development of the National Interoperability Platform, aimed at revolutionizing the way state institutions communicate. This platform will enable the automatic and secure transfer of data between institutions, eliminating the need for citizens and companies to repeatedly submit documents. The project also includes training for 15 individuals to ensure the efficient functioning of the platform.

The platform will standardize data from various formats, ensuring at the same time that every access to information is recorded, in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). The funding comes from the Regional Development Fund, and for the completion of the implementation, estimated for 2028, an additional 41 million lei is needed from the state budget. This initiative marks an important step in the digitalization of Romanian public administration.
