The most dangerous cities in the world in 2025. Six localities from Romania appear on the list.

At the top is Pietermaritzburg (South Africa), with a crime score of 82.0. Next is the capital of Venezuela, Caracas, with a score of 81.5, and in third place is Port Moresby from Papua New Guinea, with 81.2.

On the extended list, there are also six cities from Romania, but at a considerable distance from the major crime capitals.
